I made myself a nice cuppa of Earl Grey, and decided to have a chat with some of our more recent Golden Ticket winners.

I first got to chatting with Pinky2011, who had won her 1st Golden Ticket.  She’s not discouraged because she knows it only takes 1 Golden Ticket to win her £5,000,000.00

HOW MANY GOLDEN TICKETS DO YOU HAVE NOW?

Just the one, it’s my 1^st win so far.  Mind you I’ve been trying for ages to win one of them.  I’m actually happy that I have at least 1 chance.

WELL ONE CHANCE IS STILL GOOD, THE WINNER LAST YEAR WON WITH ONLY 1 TICKET.

 That’s good isn’t it?  I know that I’ve played games before on only my LPs and had only had 1 ticket while everyone else around me had more, and I still won on those games, so I could do the same here.  I’ll still try and get the other tickets, but to be honest, it doesn’t even matter to me.   Even my family is all excited about the game.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT 888LADIES?

I don’t just like it, I absolutely love 888ladies.  I’ve been with you from the very start and have never strayed.  I love the people here; everyone is so lovely and friendly.  I love the CH and even you Cookie, and the fact that when you phone up, they’re so nice to you and want to help you.  I love it 100%

I then tracked down destiny25, who was beaming with her 4 Golden Tickets.

Are you excited now that you have all 4 Golden Tickets?

Oh yes, I’m very excited!  And the more I win them the more and more excited I get.   I’ve been trying very hard to get them.  I won some on the instant games too,  I love playing fluffy Favorites so it’s not surprise really.  LOL It’s anyone’s game now isn’t it?  I mean anyone can win it.

What would you do if you won it?

I’ve always dreamed of a house by the sea shore.  I think the kids would love that.  They could even go swimming with the dolphins.  That would be amazing.

And just as my Earl Grey was finishing, I found Kentsrose and her daughter, both with their own dreams on how to spend the millions.

So what’s going through your mind now that you have 2 tickets to the £5,000,000.00?

I’m thinking it’s the more chances to win!  I can’t wait for the big game.  I’ve already booked the Sunday off from work so that me and my daughter can watch it together.

Are you working on getting the other 2 tickets now?

I have been yes.  I’ve tried going to other rooms to play the Gold Ticket games, but somehow I always end up back in Champagne time.  I don’t know, I really like it there.  I guess it’s because it’s less people and I know everyone there, it’s like an extended family.

What would be the 1^st thing you do if you won £5,000,000?

I think I’d do a summer-sault, LOL which would be right difficult with my arthritis.  But seriously, I’d love to buy a bungalow by the sea.  I grew up by the sea, and it’s very beautiful.   My daughter is planning to take a trip to Hawaii.

We finally had the chance to catch up with some of our Gold Ticket winners and have them share with us what its like to be that close to winning £5,000,000.00

We got chatting with bjbear4 who won her 2nd Golden Ticket and now have her eye set on a cruise.

So were you excited when you realized you won the Golden Ticket?

Oh yes, I was practically over the moon!  I can’t believe my luck.  I have 2 Golden Tickets now and I didn’t even win 1 last year.  I hope that means my luck is coming around.

I’ve been on a few cruises before, and I absolutely love cruises.  I think if I was even lucky enough for a share, I’d blow it on holidays and cruises.  You can’t take the money with you, so you might as well enjoy it.

Next we caught up with baggybum999, who have already maxed out on her Golden Tickets.  She’s making preparations to make sure she doesn’t miss anything.

I just wanted to say congratulations on being one of the very few players to actually have a Golden Ticket.

I’d have 5 now if I could have more.  LOL.  But I know I can only get the 4.  It doesn’t mean I can’t still play.  I mean £50 is a pretty decent room JP.

So tell me………… what is it like knowing that you’re this close to winning £5,000,000?

I’m very excited about the game.  I wasn’t even a member during the 1^st Golden Ticket game.  In fact I contacted Help because I was so worried.  I’ll be on holiday in Spain during March 6^thso I’ll miss the actual game.  I told CHJosh to send me a text if I win.  You know you can even call me if I win, no matter what time of the night it is.  LOL.  I think the 1^st thing I’d do is have a very stiff drink.  Then of course I’d look after my family, buy a nice big house for my 2 daughters, pay off my mortgage and just help my family out.  Oh and of course go on a shopping spree when I’m done.

Our last interview was with LovePie, who played the Golden Ticket game without even knowing what it was all about.  Lucky for her she now has a chance to win the biggest Jackpot ever on 888ladies.

Since you didn’t know about the whole Golden Ticket promotion, what made you want to play the game?

I was in the room when the CH announced that the Golden Ticket game is about to play.  Then the room started filling and all the members were buzzing about it.  It was only 10p so I thought why not?  It seemed like everyone else was trying to win one anyways.

So how does it feel, now that you know what the Golden Ticket is all about, to know that you have one?

It feels quite good to be honest.   I’ve only just started, and it’s the 2^nd game I’ve won on 888ladies so far.  I don’t think I’m doing badly at all.  I even won £50 along with the Golden Ticket, which isn’t bad, my 1^st win was only for £3.  LOL So £50 is quite nice to be honest.

HOW MUCH DID YOU WIN?

I won £6000.00 last night.  It’s so brilliant that I’m still in shock.  I can hardly believe it, I’ve had such crap luck lately.  You see I’d suffer a heart attack, and have been on disability for a very long time.  I can’t even tell the last time I’ve had a good win; this couldn’t come at a better time. 

WHAT GAME DID U WIN IT ON?

I won it on Roulette.  It’s my favourite game, but I also play the Paradise Reels and Bingo often.  I guess this kind of thing doesn’t happen to everyone, does it?

WHAT WAS UR 1ST REACTION WHEN U REALISED YOU WON THAT MUCH?

I was in total shock.  I still am in fact.  I kept refreshing my balance, thinking there must be a mistake.   But as I refreshed the balance didn’t go down.  I’m so trilled; this couldn’t come at a better time.   

WHAT R UR PLANS NOW?

I wish I could go on a nice holiday somewhere, but I can’t right now.   I’m just going to try and pay off some of our bills, and straighten things out a bit.  Oh and try and win some more on here too.

DO U HAVE ANY ADVISE FOR OTHER PLAYERS WHO R TRYING TO STRIKE BIG?

Well I try to raise my bet ever so often.  At one time I was betting £85 a stake.  I know it’s a risk, and you don’t often win.  But I think if I could win £6000 then anyone can do it.  There must be an angel out there looking out for everyone, so good luck to all players at 888ladies

While slinkysue struck Roulette gold; bluestig made some bold moves of his own by taking down the Fluflly Favourite Jackpot with a £5000 win, and winning on White Wizard, Quest for the Gail and Amazon Wild, bringing his total win to more than £8000, in one sweet sweep.

How does it feel to be a Golden Ticket holder?

Brilliant!  When I won it I was over the moon about it.  It’s my very 1^st Golden Ticket you know.  I played another Golden Ticket game today, but didn’t have any luck.  Oh well, there’s still time.

Do you know we’re going to send you a shiny ticket in the post?

Yes I’ve seen all the pictures on facebook, and CHNina and the other roomies have been teasing me that I have to send a picture in.  LOL. I’m really loving the photos, by the way.

My husband and I were just here chatting up on what we’d do if we won the jackpot.

Oh what does your husband think of all the commotion and what would you do?

He was having a good laugh at me yesterday when I won the Golden Ticket.  I was jumping around the room singing I won a “Golden Tikcet”.  He spoils me really.  LOL.  We’ve decided to help out the entire family if we won that much money.  At least I’ve got a chance at it.

Is this your 1^st Golden Ticket?

Yes it’s my 1^st one, but I’m going to win some more I’m sure.  I usually play in all the Golden Ticket games.  My mom plays on here too and she’s been trying to win one also.  She was so jealous when I told her I won a Golden Ticket.  But I’ll give her a little from my win when I win the Jackpot.

What’s the 1^st thing you’d do if you were to win the £5mil?

I’d go on a shopping spree.  A very, very, big shopping spree.  LOL I’m spend loads of money on all my family.  I also want to wish Achilllady good luck, because she’s not in the UK, she’s not eligible for the £5mil.  It’s a shame but I wish her good luck otherwise.

And finally Blueeyeso, and for her the world is full of possibilities now.

When did you realize that you won a Golden Ticket?

I was playing a Golden Ticket game and won a share with 3 other players.  Then the next day my name was on the blog as a winner.  It felt good, and I was very excited.  I only have the won, but anything is possible now, one is all it takes really.  But I hope it’s not my last.

Were you in the Golden Ticket game last year?

No sadly I wasn’t.  I hope I’m lucky this time around.  I’d love to be able to pay off all my debts, and take my 8yr old daughter on a holiday.  She’s been through allot in her young life, and I’d love to take her swimming with the dolphins somewhere nice.

We started off by chatting to Trymyluck1, who is feeling very optimistic about the big game – as March 6th is her birthday! Will she get an amazing birthday gift?

Are you looking forward to the big Golden Ticket game?

Yes most definitely! It’s going to be extra special for me because my birthday is on the same day. I do believe it’s a good omen. At least I hope so. LOL

Do you think winning £5,000,000.00 would change your life?

Yes of course. But I don’t know what I’d do at first though. I do know that sort of money can do a lot of good for a lot of people. I hope I’m lucky enough in the big game. I wouldn’t mind sharing the jackpot either. LOL

Very, very exciting. You know I’ve always wanted to go to Tiffany’s. If I won the £5,000,000.00, you and me will go shopping at Tiffany’s, Cookie. And we’ll dress up really posh and buy the most expensive thing in the store. We’d probably finish it all in one go. LOL

Do you know that next week makes exactly 3 years that I’ve been with 888ladies. Let me tell you how I came to join 888ladies. I was playing on another poker site, when I heard about 888poker. So I thought I’d join, because I’m a poker player too. (I’ve even played on a live table in Vegas) I saw the 888ladies banner on 888poker and thought I’ve give it a try, even though I’ve never really played bingo, and I’ve never looked back since. LOL I think if I’d be so lucky to win the £5,000,000, I’d definitely take a vacation in Los Vegas again. I really enjoyed it there. I rode on an elephant once and I’d love to do that once more.
