The Yum Factor Winners
Wednesday, May 4th, 2011As you 888ladies know, we ran a special Yum factor competition on facebook to reward all the 888ladies who took the time to upload their recipes. There was fierce competition and the recipes all looked amazing, however we could only have three winners.
The recipes and photos were all uploaded onto facebook, and the winners were decided by YOU, the 888ladies, by clicking ‘Like’ on the recipe of your choice. The prizes were great, 1st place winner won £100 vouchers of their choice, 2nd place winner won £50 vouchers of their choice and 3rd place winner won £30 vouchers of their choice.

Baileys Chocolate Cheesecake By Trudy22

Ingredients
- 100g butter
- 250g digestive biscuits, crushed (can also use chocolate digestive)
- 600g Philadelphia cream cheese
- 25ml Baileys (extra if u want a stronger flavour)
- 100ml icing sugar
- 300ml double cream, whipped
- 100g grated chocolate
To garnish ( if u wish )
- 200ml double cream, whipped
- cocoa powder, to dust
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a pan and add the crushed digestive biscuits. Mix well until the biscuits have absorbed all the butter.
- Remove from the heat and press into the bottom of a lined 18cm/7in tin. Place in the fridge and allow to set for one hour.
- Meanwhile, prepare the filling. Lightly whip the cream cheese then beat in the Bailey’s and icing sugar. Fold in the whipped cream and grated chocolate.
- When smooth, spoon evenly onto the biscuits.
- Place in the fridge and allow to set for a further two hours.
- Once set, remove and decorate with whipped cream / ice cream and cocoa powder dusted over the top.
- Serve to all you guest with a glass of baileys over ice
Easy Peasy Pizza by wendy1971uk

Ingredients
- Puff Pastry Sheets
- Tomato puree
- Pizza toppings of your choice
- Cheese
Instructions
- Cut pastry sheet to size you wish to make pizza, this is versatile so you can make one big one or several small ones.
- I cut to several small ones and get the kids to put own toppings on, they love this as they get to make their own food.
- Add tomato puree leaving a rim or two inches round the outside on large pizza or one inch on small ones. put layer of cheese then the toppings of your choice leaving the outer rim free .
- Bake in oven on gas 6 for 10-15 min till pastry is puffed round the edges and raised/golden brown.
- Serve with salad or fries

Ingredients
- 200g milk chocolate
- 50g raisins
- 2 Cadburys fudge
- 1 cup marshmallows
- 1/2 cup crunchy nut cornflakes
- Mini eggs
Instructions
- Cut the fudge into small pieces
- Place the chocolate in a bowl over a saucepan of boiling water on medium heat, stir until melted.
- Remove from heat, stir in the fudge, raisins, marshmallows and Crunchy Nut cornflakes.
- Place the mix into cake cases, place a mini egg on top.
- Place in fridge until solid
