Do it for 888ladies and good old St George!! Send in your favourite English Food recipe!!

Wednesday, April 21st, 2010

Dear 888ladies & 888gents

It is the greatest unofficial holiday in England on 23rd April – St Georges Day! Not only is it the day when Shakespeare was born (1564) and died (1616) but the day we celebrate a Turkish Knight, born in the Holy Land, slay an improbable ‘dragon’ in the name of chivalry. Well forget that, it is just a good reason to eat, drink and be merry!!!

Let’s start with the eating with some good old-fashioned, English grub!!! I want you great roomies to send in YOUR ORIGINAL RECIPES of ENGLISH DISHES so that you can exchange them and make them and be merry!

There will 1,000LPs for each recipe sent in it, one per roomie, and there will be 5,000LPs for the winning entry and if it is tasty enough and doesn’t include genitalia or offal, you may well even see a picture of ME EATING IT! The TOP TEN recipes will get an additional 1,000LPs!

Good Luck All!

Tally-ho!……..
